How can the Guardian be invited to receive alerts?

The Account Holder can designate a Guardian from their SpareOne Locate & Alert service account to receive alerts by email and/or text message. An automated email invitation for each type of alert is sent to the designated Guardian’s email address.

Please update their profile with the new mobile number or new email address. To edit your Guardian info, login to your SpareOne Locate & Alert account at myspareone.com.

What will happen if a Guardian does not want to receive alerts by text message?

When you set up Guardians to receive text alerts, SpareOne will send an email to the Guardian with the option to receive Alert text messages.  The Guardian must agree to receive the text alerts. If the Guardian no longer wants to receive text alerts, they should contact the Account Holder or they can reply ‘STOP’ to any text alert.
